2022 Scholarship Recipients
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, Next Level was able to impact the lives of three incredibly deserving students in 2022. Meet our most recent scholarship recipients, Hanna, Brendon, and Thao!
Hanna
School of Physician Assistant Studies
Hanna is a second-year Physician Assistant student. After she graduates, she wants to work as a PA in women's health.
"I went into healthcare because I find a lot of gratification in being a part of the patient care experience. My diverse background taught me to be compassionate and adaptable in various situations, it also motivated me to work and study hard so that I can be a PA. I am so thankful for the financial help that the Next Level Scholarship will provide me.”
Thao
School of Occupational Therapy
Thao is a second-year occupational therapy student. Her long-term goal is to be a leader in her field and to serve communities.
“This scholarship will help ease the financial stress that comes from student loans and will allow me to focus more on developing my knowledge and expertise in OT. This award will help me focus on possessing the skills needed to interact with an underserved population and embrace cultural perspectives beyond my own.”
Brendon
School of Pharmacy
Meet Brendon, a former
homeless youth, who went on to serve in the army as a pharmaceutical tech before entering graduate school for Pharmacy.
"In the wake of my mother's suicide, I eventually became homeless. In the pursuit of education, I regained composure and stability in my life. I enlisted in the US Army and became a pharmacy technician. This Scholarship will help me achieve my goal of becoming a leader in pharmacy.”
